Amai In Hokkaido (II)

It is snowing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The snow is so beautiful!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If you want to experience walking in the snow, Hokkaido would be the place for you. ^^

Just had my breakfast and you should see how ML and Qin ate! They ate a lot but I chose because I don't eat raw and XM doesn't eat meat.

I am more keen to eat cakes and pastries. Not the authentic Japanese cakes but western pastries. Ever since I ate the cakes in Kobe, Japan two years back, local cakes in Singapore just don't attract me anymore.

No pictures yet cos they need to download and I can only dl them tonight.

Off now to explore the streets of Hokkaido and also to walk in the snow. ^^

Amai In Hokkaido (I)

Hokkaido is very very cold and it is about 3.5 degrees celsius. According to the weather forecast, Hokkaido may snow on Saturday! Wow...wee...I wanna walk in the snow.

We left Kansai Airport at 10plus in the morning and reached Hokkaido in about 2 hours' time. Kansai was 15 degrees but there was a drastic drop in temperature in Hokkaido.

The roads are wet and slippery. I nearly slipped. You should look at the Japanese. They walked through it in high heels and some even wore short skirts...imagine only a mere 3 degrees and they didn't seem at least freezing.

The winter apparels in Japan are so nice and stylish unlike those that I saw in Singapore. Impulsively, I felt like buying but later dumped the idea as I don't need them in Singapore.



We visited a German Christmas Fair near our hotel. Look at the lights... Wow...Bright and starry, isn't it? The feel of Christmas in Japan is much stronger than Taiwan...I spent Christmas in Taiwan many years back and that how I got my impression.

In Japan

Hiya folks,

I am now in Japan, Kansai Airport waiting for transit to Hokkaido.

The temperature here now is very cooling and is about 10 degrees celsius. Not that cold as I expected. However, Hokkaido is very much colder as it is below 0 degree.

I'm now using ML's laptop so I think I shall update my blog if I am able to get access to the net. ^^

XJ: How are your Biyuzan's rehearsal so far? Buck up and you can do it! Don't miss me too much.

Welcome AC to our GZX Cosplay Project...Hmm...I wonder how many members are there now? Don't worry about not knowing GZX much...We shall work it out. ^^

GZX Cosplay

I came upon some clips on GZX Cosplay and I found them fun and interesting.
The kids enjoyed themselves a great deal. From the music background, you can tell that they are YLH's fans. Here is one of their video clips.

I never thought of dressing up and sing GZX like them. However I used my dad's trousers as watersleeves and sang and gestured in front of the mirror when I was during teenage years. ^^

KH used to have GZX Fan Club activities donkey years back. I ever acted 白衣童子...but I forgot my lines...(LOL)...The worst role that I ever played was 巫山一段云的表妹。。。SO UGLY!!!!

Hey XJ and Co, why not we also do a GZX Coplay....(LOLs)

Qin asked me whether have I prepared a card for Aran......

Ooops...I didn't...

But anyway, I'm looking forward to see Takarazuka and eat Japanese pastries. ^^

The Drunken Princess - 醉公主

The storyline of "The Drunken Princess" is a bit similar to "Dragon Lady" except for some changes...

The story goes like this;

The Dragon Princess loved to drink wine since young. One day, Prince Wo Jiang (a lake dragon) asked for the Princess' hand-in-marriage but the latter refused. The Princess threw Prince out of her palace incurring the wrath of the Dragon King.
The Princess together with her maid(a red carp) went up to the land to escape from this marriage.
They came upon a wine peddlar by the name of Wang and they fell in love.
Prince Wo Jiang was deeply hurt to learn that the Dragon Princess ran away from the marriage. He planned his revenge and caught both Wang and the Princess.
He threatened to kill Wang and the villagers if the Princess refused to marry him.
