Bandit Amai...aiyo...face so ROUND & Chubby!!!

An audience told me that my bandit so fierce-looking...(LOL) N I looked like a Japanese pirate. Wahahahahahahaha~~~



WMY is indeed nice-looking in this show. She delibrately cut her hair just to suit this image.

Who says that bandits cannot be good-looking??? WMY is the only educated bandit...so even with this clean image, I feel is acceptable.



I may go into dan if I don't get much opportunity to act as a sheng.

(Hahaha, you don't have to tell Leader, I told her already face to face.)

Sometimes I feel that it is necessary to fight for ownself even though my suggestions may not be accepted. At least it clears a load off my mind and I made myself heard.

Musicals

Though I am a big fan of chinese operas, I do like musicals alot.

That's why I like Japan's Takarazuka, German's Elisabeth also.

Just that, I sing Xiangopera better...... (LOL)

Maybe if I listen to Mama Mia's soundtrack CD, I may able to sing...you know with my poor memory....

Now I only remember....

I strongly recommended Snow Troupe 1996 version, not FM's.

I like 1996 snow troupe's version the best, then followed by 1998 star troupe's version...though the latter, they didn't sing well..I just love the way the TOP acted...She was so lovely...so full of humanity...(Cos she played the role of Death who was supposed to be cold and unfeeling.)

Recently not in a pretty mood, need to de-stress abit.

I bought MAMA MIA movie's sound track CD yesterday. Now I enjoy my trips to and fro work even more, listening to the CD, swaying shoulders to its songs.

My colleague came to my table when I was "blasting" Dancing Queen softly on my laptop...She said that she went to the concert in USA and had a great time dancing with the ang mohs...She said the whole concert made her high unlike in SG, people tend to be more reserved. Oh...what a waste...Should dance yozz...

Freaky Bandits

20th of December will be another opportunity for this group of bandits to create "havoc" on stage.

A hilarious one definitely.

Bandit WMY (The most educated and suave and kool bandit), Bandit MX (HOB - Head of Bandit, illiterate and lazy to shave bandit, favourite past-time is hunting for fair maidens of any age), Bandit YN (Rebonded Hair Bandit whose favourite snack is carrot cake), Bandit AH HUA (Chef of Bandit who looks after Lead Lady's 3 meals and the first one to scurry off when danger lurks) and last but not least, Bandit SH (Everything also must be 美美, most of the time harmless but don't mess with Bandit SH's mirror, stylish hair and carefully trimmed moustache, if you do, you gonna get a nasty bite) (LOL)



Goodness on the outside and rotting on the inside. This century most wicked women in the show.

Bandit MX wouldn't mind capturing these two and exhibit them in the Gallery of Wicked Women in Bandit Museum.

I believe they will make a spectacular piece of art. (LOL)

Lantern Festival Performances

I think for the first time we performed opera excerpts for three places on the same day.

My performance was scheduled at 9plus at night but I have to be ready by 4pm.

It's kind of fun to run from a place to another and supported the others in their performances though it was very tiring by the time it was finally my turn to perform.

Recently I am not in a mood to take pictures because I am very FAT!

FAT and UGLY

My doctor whom I saw today told me that my health is no good. I must take medicine first, cannot go for dieting yet.

So when the green light is on, I have to start.

Back to the dieting days...AGONY!!!

Opera Opera Opera Work Work Work

Will you give up your Opera one of these days?

Familiar question?

A good question to ponder.

Agree with K that life is not only work and opera, it is a mixture of family, friends, relationship, friendship and more......

Why are some of us so overwhelmed with too much work or too much rehearsals?

You have to TRY to strike a balance between work and personal life.

I used to spend a considerable amount of time in Opera besides my work.

I neglected my family because I was opera ambitious.

After umpteen hipcups and disappointments, I began to see "light". I was unhappy most of the time because certain arrangements were very unfair and I was not given the recognition and the opportunities compared to some of the very privileged ones.

I believe in giving a performance with some standards even though I am only an amatuer.

Even as a hobby, I want to try to excel within my means. (or used to...LOL)

Now, I wouldn't want to go KH unless I am needed. For those who care about me, sorry to say that I have disappointed you and I admit that I have slackened alot. For those who hate me, good news that I shall continue to slack deeper. (LOL)

However as I grow older, I begin to miss those that I have missed during my earlier days. Shopping, watching movies, going out with my parents, meeting new friends.

Due to my straight and curt temper, I voice out most of my thoughts and that made me a very undesirable person, I guess. My survival social skills SUCK!

Perhaps that's why I don't do well in the area - "Meeting new friends". (LOL)

I would very much want to meet new friends or have gatherings with my existing friends...(if they still existed...LOL)

Time management is important and essential. Have a little self-discipline in time management and punctuality. Perhaps it will work better.

I really get very upset if I have to wait most of the time for my co-partners just to get the rehearsals in place. For genuine reasons, I can accept if you are late but if it becomes too habitual, it becomes unbearable.

Everyone has 24 hours a day, no more no less. If time management is exercised, I believe we can get most of the work done.

I live far away from my work place and KH.But this doesn't give me the excuse to be late for work or opera. I don't mind travelling because my colleagues are nice and I have been in KH for donkey years.

I am not that kind of person who can adapt to a new surrounding well and that may be the reason why I still stay put.

Back to the six-million dollar question.

Will you give up your Opera one of these days?

My answer is " I may".

It is just a matter of time and situation.

I just don't wish to put in all my heart, time and soul in opera because I won't know when I am not "loved" anymore. (LOL)

Hahaha...I think my parents will love me more if I were to give up opera. (LOL)

Colleagues from my level and 2 of them got the Best-dressed Ladies. (The elaborately-dressed Malay lady and the Chinese lady in Blue.)

They each got a GUCCI wallet!!!

Assignments Done!!! N X Files

Remember the whine about heuristics?

Assignments finally done and enclosed in the envelope.

It is due in 2 weeks' time. But I wanna hand in this week, to get over and done with.

2 of my colleagues will be handing in too. The rest will hand in on the last day as they have not done theirs yet.

Don't want to think about heuristics for the time being.

Recently got hook to American TV Series. I know I am being late in watching "X Files". I started with Season 5 first and now Season 1. Think I will follow the rest of the seasons.

My new TW Opera DVD arrived yesterday. No time to watch it yet as I want to finish watching "X Files".

Agent Scully was so much younger in Season 1...(Cos I watched Season 5 first and Scully seemed to lose some of the baby fats on her face.) Read it from the net that they took 10 solid years to finish the whole 9 seasons.

Bruised

I just realised that I have bruises on my leg...

I got them from last night's rehearsal...

However my bruises are minor compared to someone's else...

I feel very BRUISED today...No mood and in fact quite upset over it.

I have already told you that I wasn't confident and uncertain that I could do that stunt.

Yet my words were dismissed...

I am now very upset to see people hurt...

I know it was an accident BUT we could have avoid the accident if someone could just listen to my concerns earlier on.

I got panicky and then in a flash, it happened

Please....no more stunt if I can't do it... even if you think I am a lousy and "pro-less" actress whom does not meet up to your expectations.

I dropped you and I dropped her too...

AND I really do not want to drop another one...

It's too much for me to bear...

I am very upset already...
