Stage Manager???

Salute to those who are great stage managers.

Tough and sticky job.

It's tougher if there is not enough backstage crew to help out.

I was fuming mad but what else could I do...

Just tried my best.

The most important thing is to get the show delivered smoothly.

Chris Lee has a nicer haircut compared to her previous one.

I won't comment on her singing...;P



She has a huge fanbase...

Her MTV and concert remind me a little about Takarazuka.

She has very strong stage presence which is very essential for a performing artiste.

I Look So Different

I look so different and on stage I feel different too.

Only on stage, no one can make me feel small.

I belong to the stage.

Even for that few minutes, I feel good.

It may be stressful but it always leaves wonderful memories behind.

Though I do flop sometimes, I will still try to work harder.

Big Belly & No Waist

My princess' new show will be debuted next month.

L "commanded" me to get rid of my Big Belly and said that I have no waist。

As a dan, you can't have no waist and a big belly. They gonna look bad on stage.

So no excuse even for a part-time dan like me.

The question is how to get rid of the Big Belly & No Waist?

Dreams Of A Chinese Opera

Bought these cds few weeks back... I first bought "Dreams of an opera" (CD cover with the painted face) about a year or so. I like it.

So when the 2nd CD came out, I bought it without hesitation.

The shop manager asked me to get the "The Song of Songs" (Pink Cover) and recommended highly for it.

If you are chinese cum opera music lover, perhaps you may want to consider getting them too. ;)

黃梅戲 - 半把剪刀

我很喜歡這個版本。比起河洛的[私生子]（由此劇改編而成），劇本方面，好看多了。

雖然黃梅戲的版本淒涼多了。。。但是比較合理。。。

我無法接受[私生子]的結局。。。看了就很漚。。。

這等的負心漢不要也罷！！！不管是妻子還是兒子，這樣的丈夫，這樣的父親，不要也罷！

呵呵~~~激動起來喲。。。呵呵~~~；p

Just that the two Liaos simply don't match!

KOI

Looking at the word "KOI", you may think of Japanese Carp...Nope nope...

KOI is actually the name of a Taiwanese Bubble Tea outlet.

You can find KOI in Toa Payoh, Chinatown and Marine Parade and they are run by Taiwanese.

The bubble tea is ABSOLUTELY delicious. Shanice can vouch for that!

ML was the first one to intro me this particular bubble tea and from then on I got hooked to it.

Till now I love it best.

I don't drink other brands except KOI...unless there is another TW authentic bubble tea outlet, if not, I shall still stick to KOI.

Amazing yozz...Not too bad in the sense that some native Chinese can't even sing Yueju well.

Dream Of The Lotus Pond

I am very interested to know what this show is about. It seems quite an "experimental" kind of opera.

From a quick glimpse of the clip, I find this show more appetizing than the previous clip. Till now, I still can't picture Meng Jiangnv singing the Titanic Theme song. It's kind of crappy to me.

Meng Jiangnv Sings Titantic

I saw this clip online quite some time back and seeing Yanrong singing Titantic in English really amused me.

However I am not very light-hearted to see such arrangement in a chinese opera though I know that this particular script was specially written for an experimental opera presentation held in TW 2006.

AC, have you watched the Xiamen's Butterfly Lovers - Lou Tai Hui that was also held in Art Fest 2006 in TW?

I wonder how was it like. I only saw the TW's presentation and theirs were quite remarkable.

Backpain Strikes Again

This time round, I went to see the doctor and doctor gave me 2 days MC at home.

The pain is terrible and irritating. I can't stay in a position for too long hence I need to change my position every now and then.

I can't walk , stand, sit or even lie down for too long. It hurts too much.

Doc warned me that I need plenty of rest to ensure that my back to recover fully before I go back to work.

Initially, I wanted only a day of rest but he advised me not to.

He said that there isn't a replacement for back unlike other organs.

Sighzzz, so no work and opera during MC.
