I went to my Doc this morning. He had two student docs with him. This wasn't the first time that I entered the room with more than a doc.
Doc is a chatty and friendly person. I like to go to him as he explains my health concerns in details and would try his very best to assist me.
I asked him how would I "save" myself if I hyperventilate again with no one around to help.
He told me to try to control my breathing and the panic attack would go slowly away.
Doc said that hyperventilation is caused by STRESS. Some food may be a trigger to that but STRESS is still the main cause to it.
I went to dentist in the afternoon for cleaning. I have not seen a dentist for more than a year.
My mum said that I was lucky that I didn't have to do any filings as my sis-in-law paid a clean hundred plus. And Shanice just told me that she went on Saturday and was swept away with a cool two hundred bucks.
YN is still thinking to do root canal treatment. I think it would cost her a big bomb.
So I better don't "play play" and stick faithfully to my half a year dental appointment.
Till now, my teeth hurts.
The dental assistant freaked me out because she got reprimanded by the dentist for being daydreaming.
She was too nervous. Hey, I should be the one to be nervous instead!
Most Khers went for Aunt ZZ's daughter's wedding last night at Pan Pacific.
YN and SH took lots of pictures especially SH. You should see her fluttering from one person to another.
I asked for her blog and she said that WMY had not completed it. Heard from WMY that she's going to make a very dynamic and nice blog for SH, some animated stuff. Wow......SH is so lucky. Look at WMY, so cheerful, smiling broadly from ear to ear.
Me & Aunt JM. Aunt JM said that she must hug me closely so that my mum would get jealous. (LOL)
Anyway my mum and I hardly hug each other. My mum is a traditional housewife and she rarely hugs her children. Aunt JM though is my mum's friend, she is very modern and outgoing. Different personalities, I would say. ^^

Went to Beauty Box with Shanice and Meiling for a makeover.
Shanice and Meiling looked good but I don't think I look good...
I got a round and plump face...and the hair stylist made it fatter by blowing my hair outwards...
But I didn't dare to comment cos the stylist might turn "bitchy"...(LOL)
He complained alot about his customers being difficult.
Maybe that's why I just kept quiet about that hairstyle of mine.
On the other hand, Meiling looked dollish and Shanice looked classic in their polaraid pictures and I looked ugly..*sob* *sob*
So I adamantly refused to show my polaraid picture here...
Meiling and Shanice are going to TW for another makeover session...How I envy them..Not only that they are going to watch my TW friends' GZX in December!!!!!

Ugly Me......

I went to the movie ALONE for the first time in my life. I forgot to grab my cardigan and I was freezing cold in the cinema. The horror and the gore of the movie made my blood run even colder.
So I spent a nice 8 bucks scaring myself alone in the cinema. (LOL)
I needed something hot and filling to make me and my stomach warm after the show. I was practically shivering. I took chicken and char siew rice......That cost me another 5 bucks.
I received an SMS from Shanice today telling me that she must be very stressed. Instead of marking, she went for a hair treatment. She further commented that I was weirder than her because I chose to go for a movie as she could mark at the same time her hair was treated.
Well, I could only say that I have done my fair bit of today's share and no one in the right mind would do such in a dark cinema. (LOL)
But still there were friends who were puzzled why I went for a horror movie and somemore ALONE. (LOL)
One more thing to add was that I "roamed" and "wandered" in my high heels. Imagine for donkey years, I have not been wearing high heels. I admitted that I started to wear high heels just for a simple reason. That is to show off my nicely pedicured nails. I used not to bother as I feel that my toes look ugly so I seldom wear high heels. However after the pedicure, they kind of look better. It would be a shame if I don't show them off. I bought this pair of shoes from DMK yesterday. It cut me a little but not so much as the NODA pair of shoe.(LOL)
So I walked like a dainty lady in my high heels except sometimes I forgot and started to walk like a Xiaosheng. If only I could wear my Xiaosheng's 3-inched opera shoes...They are so much comfortable. (LOL) Who knows the trend may start and you may get to see people wearing them on the streets.
Oh ya, AC wore them out once in Orchard Road, I think.
Vainpot I am, well you will see that I may be getting vainer soon. (LOL)
So I continued my "roaming" after my dinner. I went into a shopping frenzy. Well, not really a shocking one but these are the goods that I bought.
Pictures speak more than a thousand words so I shall not elaborate further.
One friend smsed me asking why I didn't ask any of my opera troupe friends along. Good question......
I meet them at KH most of the time. We hardly go for movies, shopping or play...We rehearse together more often.
From what I understood from YN, her hubby felt that seeing us at KH is GOOD ENOUGH so there is no reason why she should spend her other time with her KH friends. That's why it discourages me from asking her out.
How about the rest? Well, they have their own committments and some of them are workholics and some may just want to spend time with those they prefer. Others may want to spend their time polishing up their opera skills.
I have put in most of my quality time in my opera. It is high time that I deserve a good break.
I want to have a makeover recently but I have no idea where to get a good one.
I used to have some makeover pictures ages ago...The effects were so so only.

If you have been to Shanice's blog, you should have seen these already. The pictures made Shanice look a decade older. I remember Shanice has one more set of photos and they are much better..Please go and find them and put up and let us see.
