I absolutely love "Annie" Musical Movie. It is so touching.

I saw the 1982 version which I used to borrow from the library years ago. It was a video tape.

Have you seen "Annie" before? If you haven't, I have the DVD...hehe ;P

阿邁沒有參加這次去臺灣的演出。（工作忙）

今日的阿邁胖的。。。不過是開心的。。。;P

（當初被叫了“胖花旦”后，幾乎天天在哭。。。兩個星期真的暴瘦下來。。雖然是瘦了，在舞臺上看上去是漂亮了，但是不開心。。。何必呢。。。要開心才重要，不是嗎？）

現在再虧我胖。。。應該起不了什麽作用吧？

心已飛走了。。。越飛越遠。。。。。。

I got a bad haircut yesterday.

Wanna save, so went for the $10 express cut.

Now it is "expressively" ugly yozz. ;P

Anyway, what is done is undone.

No point crying over spilled milk.

I gonna spend more time at home and in my own world. At least I don't detest my own presence, I guess.

Probably I won't get to see many people yozz...which mean not many people will get to see my ugly haircut. ;P

Life continues so MOVE ON.

Ugly so what, I still have to face it.

Just like I have to face with people who thinks not highly of me, however I believe there will be some who are sincere to me.

Life continues, you fall, you stand up again. :)

DVDS @ Esplanade

Now I have more time to spend at home, I shall read books and watch DVDS.

Finished watching "Outbreak" this afternoon and going to continue with Mimic later. (I fell asleep watching the lst part of Mimic, guess I was too tired.)

Recently work has been tiring, mood has been low and I'm rather upset over things.

Hmmm ... watching more DVDS and reading more books gonna enrich my life yozz. ;P

Bride & Prejudice

I borrowed this DVD from Esplanade Library.

ML said," Don't tell me that you are going to watch Indian show, you have nothing to watch?"

Hahaha, I watched twice...This film is rather rich in colours and I find this movie not a drag and some segments rather hilarious.

Not too bad a movie yozz, and they sang in Bollywood style in ENGLISH. (LOL)

Bride and Prejudice is a 2004 Indian / British / American romantic musical film directed by Gurinder Chadha. The screenplay by Chadha and Paul Mayeda Berges is a Bollywood-style adaptation of Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen. It was filmed primarily in English, with some Hindi and Punjabi dialogue.

The plot closely follows the plot of Pride and Prejudice, with many elements compacted to brief references. Some character names remain the same, while others are changed slightly, using localized names with similar pronunciation (such as Lalita for Lizzy).

Lalita Bakshi is a daughter of a farmer in Amritsar. She has three sisters, Jaya, Maya, and Lahki. Lalita is introduced to William Darcy, an American businessman, but initially deems him to be self-absorbed and resists his advances. Meanwhile, William's friend Balraj and Jaya fall in love, much to the delight of Jaya's mother, who wants her daughters to marry rich men. Meanwhile, a distant relative of the family named Kholi decides that he wishes to marry a beautiful Indian girl. Though Kholi is Indian, he has lost most of his roots in America. As he is very rich, Lalita's mother offers Lalita's hand to him. Kholi is unromantic, vain, and disgusting, so Lalita quickly rejects his offer. Kholi leaves the house and settles for marrying Lalita's best friend, Chandra. Lakhi falls in love with Johnny Wickham, whose mother was Darcy's childhood nanny. Darcy tries to warn Lalita about Johnny, without revealing he impregnated Georgie, Darcy's younger sister, when she was sixteen years old, but she assumes Darcy is simply jealous of his romantic rival.

Lalita, her mother, and sisters go to Los Angeles to attend the wedding of Chandra and Kholi. Lalita and William begin to spend time together, and she overcomes her misgivings and falls in love with him.

William proposes to her, but Lalita declines because William discouraged his friend Balraj from having a relationship with her sister, and she leaves for India, stopping over in London.

Lakhi runs off with Johnny, and everyone is worried. William flies back to London and, with Lalita's help, rescues the younger sister. They fly back to India, where Lalita and William, and Jaya and Balraj get married in a double wedding.
