We had Taka Lunch and we had "Ernest In Love" and "Rika's Last Day".
Qin and XM managed to catch a snippet of both Asako's and Juri's Ernest In Love on skystage in our hotel. After watching the snippets, Qin decided to buy Juri's version as both of them found Juri better than Asa.
It is indeed a light-hearted show and I truely enjoy Juri's performance. In addition, Tomu Ranju did a good job too. Ranju has improved quite a lot since the last time I saw her Der Todd in Elisabeth.
It is indeed crucial for an actor to have a good and challenging role. It gives the actor an opportunity to up one's skills and maybe even one's popularity.
After watching "Ernest In Love", we carried on with Rika's Last Day. Rika is really an awesome dancer. It is really WOW to see Rika dance. But it is sad to watch "Last Day" tapes especially they are your beloved stars.
ML commented that though those retired stars smiled broadly on stage assuring their audience not to cry, actually they must have felt very sad to leave their Taka Stage.
WFH ever commented that she admired them for their courage and she may not be able to muster such courage to announce her retirement from the stage.
Me too, I'm not that gutsy enough because I love my Chinese Opera Stage though my friends pained to see my health failing and they advised me to quit Chinese Opera.
It isn't easy because I have thrown in many years of youth in my Chinese Opera.
Hehehehehe...Tops retire in honour after some time. Furthermore, I am not a TOP yet so I shall continue to persevere. (LOL)
